Taking stage at IFA 2014, Sony is showing off its latest Xperia gadgets with the new Z3, Z3 Compact, and E3 smartphones. The flagship Z3 is a 5.2-inch “dust-tight and waterproof” aluminum framed device that ships in black, copper, silver green, and white. Included is a feature called PS4 Remote Play allowing you to game on the device with the PS4 controller.

PS Remote Play is a free to use feature on all PS4 and PS5 consoles. All you need is: Your PS5 or PS5 Digital Edition, PS4 or PS4 Pro 2 connected to your home wired broadband network. A compatible device – also connected to your network. The free PS Remote Play app. A DUALSHOCK 4 wireless controller or DualSense controller 3. Ps4 does everything the chromecast does. Try streaming stuff from your computer through the ps4. Good luck with that. Yes you still do. The PS4 does not have any DLNA capabilities at. Then I realized my parents have Chromecast on their TV so I went to the Chromecast app and cast my phone screen on to the TV. After my phone screen was up on the TV I started Remote Play and to my surprise it actually worked. So now you can play your PS4 on any Chromecast equipped TV. With Remote Play, you can control your PlayStation® console remotely wherever you have a high-speed internet connection. Using the PS Remote Play app, you can control your PlayStation®5 console or PlayStation®4 console from a device in a different location. For example, you can use a computer in another room or a smartphone. when you’re out to enjoy PS5™ and PS4™ games.

Next up is the Compact Z3, a 4.6-inch device (compact, huh?) that’s also dust-tight and water proof with options in black, green, orange, and white. The Xperia Compacy Z3 also enjoys PS4 Remote Play support (as does the tablet version). Last is the Xperia E3, a 4.5-inch device with a 5 megapixel camera available in black, copper, lime, and white.
