The Steam Halloween Sale 2020 has kicked off with rather a sad start. I’m not sure if I’d put it this way, but I really thought there would be discounts on the majority of the games. Currently, the sale is only on “horror and Halloween-themed games across the Steam catalog”.

Although Steam announcement says discounts on horror games mostly, there are still decent deals but they aren’t featured on the Halloween Sale page. For example, Red Dead Redemption 2 is also on sale, but it’s not included in the Halloween Sale. Instead, it says a special promotion offer. The same goes for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt which is on a special promotion sale featuring a -70% discount on GOTY Edition.The best way to search for games with decent discounts would be to explore the store. Other than that, Halloween Sale is also active at Epic Games Store, so compare with that as well.
